The ACLU is the unwavering voice of liberty working in the courtrooms, legislatures and public squares, willing to take on clients, causes and cases without regard to their popularity or the current political climate, and paying particular attention to the rights of those who have historically been disenfranchised. The ACLU is the resource for individuals, community groups, press, and policymakers who want to protect and advance the cause of civil liberties and civil rights.

Would you recommend ACLU of Washington State?

ACLU is an amazing organization with views on issues that I can truly relate to. I love this organization so much that I even started an ACLU club at my school, one of the only ones in this area! I enjoy volunteering here because everyone is so kind and helpful. It is a great way to help out the community as well as gain experience in this field. I would not want to be a volunteer anywhere else, and would encourage others to experience this as well!
