We provide temporary shelter in a family living environment and opportunities for personal and family development, guiding residents toward self-sufficiency and independent living. We are committed to increasing awareness of homelessness, developing and coordinating community services, and securing contributions of time money and resources.

Description

The Liberty Center of Sandusky County is the only homeless shelter in Sandusky County, Ohio. We serve individuals and families, assisting them in becoming self-sufficient. The majoriety of residents who live at the shelter are families with children who are working to pick up the pieces of their lives and get back on their feet. We provide safe shelter, case management, meals, life skills training and a lot of encouragement to our residents. Residents can live at the shelter for up to 60 days and most of them find housing before that time.
