To provide musical performances of distinction to both enrich and enliven the community's classical music experience and to nourish new audiences through school concerts and family outreach programs

Description

For over 45 years the Western Piedmont Symphony (WPS) has provided the region the best in classical music and music education. Components include: The Masterworks Concert Series; a Chamber Classics Series and Annual Chamber Music Celebration; the Youth Symphony for young musicians interested in playing in an orchestra with winds, brass, strings and percussion. WPS has a remarkable Educational Program reaching students K-12 and also presents Family Concerts for the public to showcase the orchestra, youth symphony and local musical talent.
