Mission Statement

To empower and support older adults, adults with disabilities and their families by providing easily accessible quality information and assistance. The Aging and Disability Resource Center will provide services, resources and opportunities to support each individual’s choices for independence and enhanced quality of life.

Description

The ADRC serves a broad base of elderly people and people with disabilities; provides reliable and objective information about a broad vange of community resources; help people access resources by providing advocacy and assistance; can delay or prevent the need for long-term services; is accessible, non-bureaucratic and welcoming; educates people so they can make informed cost-effective decisions; provides outreach, information and assistance; and serves as a single entry point for publicly funded long-term care system.
