Description

A division of Boulder County's Department of Housing and Human Services, Longs Peak Energy Conservation (LPEC) focuses on moderate- and low-income households within the county with programs designed to improve the safety and energy efficiency of existing homes and the environmental awareness of its occupants.

The Neighborhood Energy Sweeps harness the commitment of trained volunteers to canvass or sweep a designated neighborhood by installing energy-saving devices and educating families in ways they can change behavior to save energy and therefore money.
