The Animal Food Bank keeps companion animals in loving homes and prevents their surrender to the shelter system by families with pet food in times of economic distress.

Description

The Animal Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley provides pet food to low-income individuals and families so they are able to keep their pets, thereby preventing pets from being relinquished to area shelters and rescues. Referrals to low-cost spay/neuter services and vaccination clinics throughout the year provide these families and their pets with additional support. The Animal Food Bank works closely with area shelters, rescues, as well as, human service organizations to provide these much needed service.
