Mission Statement

The Maple Grove Food Packing event is an annual event at which 1000 volunteers come together to pack an entire shipping container of food (285,000 meals) to send to people in need.

Description

You've seen the numbers. They can be overwhelming. 1 in 7 people in the world do not get enough food. That's 1 Billion people. Malnutrition is a great danger than malaraia, tuberculosis and AIDS... combined. It's easy to feel like you can't do anything to make it better. But you can. In just one day we can pack an entire shipping container full of food... and that's exactly what we're going to do.
