Mission Statement

The Arapaho & Roosevelt National Forests & Pawnee National Grasslands (ARNF-PNG) Foundation reflects the deep attachment people feel for the forests, grasslands and their resources by engaging the community in the stewardship of public lands.

The Foundation is dedicated to assuring healthy forests and grasslands that serve the public and the living creatures that make the forests and grasslands their home.

In cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service, the Foundation directs charitable contributions and public support for the forests' and grasslands' long-term projects and programs. It is committed to U.S. Forest Service goals, especially preservation of the Forests' special places and the education of its visitors.

Description

The Foundation is dedicated to expanding and coordinating public opportunities to support our forests and grasslands.

It is managed by a board of directors who represent the many communities surrounding the Arapaho & Roosevelt National Forests and the Pawnee National Grasslands.

The goals of our Foundation are to serve as a catalyst to encourage community support for the forests and grasslands. Additionally, the foundation strives to develop programs and projects that benefit the ARNF-PNG through land protection, conservation, education, historical preservation, and capital improvement.
