Our mission at Herd of Hope is simple: to help the people of our community who are in need live healthier, more satisfying lives by connecting them with the matchless healing power of the horse through equine-assisted therapies and activities in a safe, restorative, compassionate, and inclusive environment.

Description

Herd of Hope Equine-Assisted Therapies is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization offering equine-assisted therapies and activities to a wide range of child, adolescent, and adult participants with physical, cognitive, behavioral, and/or emotional disabilities. As a member of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship, International (PATH), Herd of Hope complies with the high caliber standards set forth by the organization.

Therapeutic riding programs are offered Monday - Friday. We also offer a broad array of equine-facilitated learning programs, including workshops, field trips, camps, and corporate programs.

The staff are friendly and provide clear instruction so even a novice at working with horses and people who have a disability feel confident and comfortable performing the needed tasks. It is fun, too!
