Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. We want to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you find access to shelter. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know the most effective ways to contribute.

Heritage Museum of Orange County is a cultural and natural history center dedicated to preserving, promoting, and restoring the heritage of Orange County and the surrounding region through quality hands-on educational programs for students and visitors of all ages.
The Museum gives tours to school children providing hands-on knowledge about the way people lived 100 years ago using the famous Kellogg House as the back drop.
In addition to the Kellogg House tours, there are tours about the Gold Rush, Native Americans, Heritage and the California Ranchos which all align with the California Content Standards for Curriculum.
HMOC is also home to the Gospel Swamp, some of the last federally protected wetlands in Santa Ana. We are working on restoring that natural area to make our property a sanctuary for native wildlife. The Gospel Swamp Farm, started in 2014, is also another area of our property that is a very large garden run by volunteers and local high school students. The produce from the Gospel Swamp Farm is sold every Sunday at the Down Town Santa Ana Farmer's Market!
