The Fiesta Mountain Run is established to raise funding for a rotating Carmel Valley institution that contributes to the community and is in need of financial support. The event promotes physical fitness and awareness of the area's natural beauty.

Description

The Carmel Valley Fiesta Run is back for 2010 with a new course and starting location. This is a beautiful and scenic 7.7-mile trail race held at Garland Ranch Regional Park. The terrain is often rugged, steep, and challenging, with poison oak, yellowjackets, and rattlesnakes present. The park is owned and operated by the Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District [www.mprpd.org].
