Mission Statement

The mission of The Center is to strengthen the community through the arts. The Center is fulfilling this mission through the actualization of three organizational goals:


  • To provide quality arts experiences.

  • To support the skills that encourage life-long learning.

  • To seek and strengthen sustainable partnerships and collaborations.

Description

The Center provides programming for all ages (including senior citizens), Monday through Saturday, and during the summer.

Morning programs include:

  • Arts Instruction for home schooled youth, senior citizens, and pre-school children with an adult.

  • Professional development workshops for public school personnel and after school practitioners.

  • Elementary and Middle School field trips with art workshops

  • Exhibitions, workshops, performances and special events for schools and other organizations.

Afternoon and weekend programs cater to elementary, middle and high school youth.

These programs are in the following visual art disciplines:

  • Drawing, Painting, & Printmaking

  • Sculpture and Ceramics

  • Digital Media/iMovie/Photoshop

  • Computer Graphics & Web Design

  • Fashion Design

  • Computer Animation/Anime
