Mission Statement

The Salvation Army Turlock Corps Community Center is dedicated to finding and fulfilling the needs of our community; spiritual, physical and emotional. We will find and meet the needs of the Westside of Turlock together through all programs, with the help of staff, volunteers and congregation.

We seek to be Christian Servants as a corps body, working with community groups and funding; we will strive to lift up our fellow people in the name of Jesus Christ. Together we can make a difference in Turlock,

Description

We serve the needs of people of all ages in a variety of programs. For kids we have tutoring, scouting and sports. For teens there is sports and a variety of programs. For families, adults and seniors there are many ways to serve and be served.

I would like to join this organization, because there is lots of people out there that need some kind of support, I think by helping other people with generosity and kindness will also benfit me by learning about life`s experiance, and becoming a better person. I also like the christiananity that is involved, theres no better way of getting blessed by god by doing good deeds to the people.

Because I think volunteering for this organization would be a wonderful place to be at you will get to meet all different people from all different walks of life, you will gain a lot of learning experience, the one reason why i would love working here is because i want to make a difference help kids, people around show them that there are people who care about them.
