Mission Statement

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses, so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can experience God's love and can live and grow into all that God intends.

"The ultimate goal of Habitat for Humanity is to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the face of the earth by building adequate and basic housing."

Habitat for Humanity's ReStore is a non-profit retail store that sells new and gently used donated items including appliances, building materials, furniture, household items, and much more.

Proceeds from the ReStore are used to fund Habitat for Humanity's operating costs in order to build homes and serve families in Richland and Lexington counties.

Habitat for Humanity is a christian non-profit organization. Through the help of donations, our ReStore, and volunteers, we provide housing to low-income families in the Midlands. Qualifed families purchase the homes with a no-interest mortgage and thier monthly payments go into a seed fund to build more homes.
