Mission Statement

In 1925, at one of the first Lions International Conventions, Helen Keller challenged Lions to focus on preventable sight and hearing issues as their primary mission. Every year, we serve over 100,000 people through eight direct service programs, fulfilling our mission to screen, treat, save, and restore sight and hearing for those who have nowhere else to turn.

Description

Since 1959, OLSHF has provided direct healthcare programs with emphasis on sight,hearing, and diabetes.
