The Center for Digital Democracy is a nonprofit public interest group working to ensure that media in the digital age promote vibrant discourse on the widest possible range of issues.

Description

CDD closely monitors the media industry--particularly Internet related companies-- keeping close watch on mergers and alliances that would be harmful to citizens and consumers. CDD also works dilligently to ensure that federal regulatory agencies (e.g. FCC, FTC) are placing strict public interest requirements on the media industry.
