Mission Statement

The July 4th Celebration gives our community the opportunity to come together and celebration our nations freedom and honor our military veterans (from WWII thru present time) in a family atmosphere.

Description

This is a community event. Our event consist of: boat parade, honors military veterans, has vendor booths (food, crafts), a children's village, canoe races, live music, dance contest, fireworks.

The City of Plaquemine has a partnership with the Iberville Museum, Plaquemine Historical Locks and Iberville Parish for this event.
