Rainbow Village is a transitional housing program that helps families become self-sufficient again. The program is one year . During this time the head of the household is assigned a case manager, a financial coach and a work force development coach. This team helps the families to set goals, pay current and past debt seek employment or better employment. All school age children must attend the after-school program from 2:00pm until 6:30pm Monday thru Friday. We have evening classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays where the parent(s) attend life skills training. The kids attend the Big Recess on Tuesday and Character Building classes on Thursday. For evening programs churches and organizations provide the meal. Organizations chaperon the classes. We do work days about once a month to help keep our property neat and beautiful.
