Mission Statement

The mission of the Albuquerque Biological Park is to enrich the quality of life for all through education, recreation, conservation and research, by providing a comprehensive environmental park consisting of the Albuquerque Aquarium, Rio Grande Botanic Garden, Rio Grande Zoo and Tingley Beach.

Description

Volunteers utilize the Albuquerque Aquarium, Rio Grande Botanic Garden, Rio Grande Zoo and Tingley Beach as a teaching resource by focusing on all habitats represented and species exhibited. Volunteers are critical to the mission because they bring knowledgeable and personal connection to thousands of people each year, both on-grounds and through outreach.
