Mission Statement

THE BFCF PURPOSE
The Brown Family Children Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization created in accordance with the wishes of James Brown, the founder of the Annual James Brown Turkey and Toy Giveaways. James Brown assisted underprivileged children and impoverished families through these and many other projects.

THE BFCF VISION
Based on James Brown’s strong belief in education, the BFCF’s vision is to develop and support new and existing music education programs, and provide support to students who pursue a career in the music and entertainment industry. Through our fundraising efforts, we will be able to provide scholarships, internships, mentorships, and music education to our children. Our goal is to encourage children to strive for excellence and support them in using their skills, talents, and abilities.
