Mission Statement

One World, an educational organization founded to increase cultural understanding of the Arab communities living in the Greater Sacramento Area; and to provide transitional assistance to newly arriving Arab immigrants and refugees to the United States.

We achieve this by providing awareness and education to the public through different kinds of media, in partnership with local organizations; and by providing referral and information services in terms of job search assistance, housing, health, legal, counseling, tutoring and translation services.

Description

One World for Love and Peace enlightens the community of significant issues concerning the lives of Arab Americans by promoting cross-cultural events and providing different social services to the community with support of the media. The organization is in the process of establishing a resource center to provide referral and information services to the Arab immigrants and refugees in Sacramento in terms of job search assistance, housing, health, legal, counseling, tutoring and translation services. The organization’s next venture is to launch the internet TV and the One World newsletter in both English and Arabic languages to help the new immigrants and refugees adapt to their new home.
