Mission Statement

The VA Great Lakes Health Care System, Tomah, Wisconsin, provides access and services for eligible veterans through patient-centered primary care in the areas of medicine, psychiatry, and long-term care.

Description

The Tomah VA is located on 173 beautifully landscaped grounds in west-central Wisconsin. The Tomah VA provides nursing home care, and mental health and rehabilitation services to veterans. Many of the patients have been at the Tomah VA for years, so the facility is as home-like as possible. The Tomah VA has its own bowling alley, fishing pond, minature golf course, nine-hole golf course, chapel, and a very active recreation program for veterans.
