Mission Statement

The mission of the Civil Air Patrol is broken down into three parts, Aerospace Education, Emergency Services, and Cadet Programs. The Aerospace Education mission is to educate cadet members, senior members, and the general public on aircraft and their uses, and to promote US airpower. The Emergency Services mission is to provide assistance to the community during natural disasters and Search and Rescue Missions. The Cadet Program mission is to properly train young people (12-18) to be the future leaders of our community through discipline, integrity, and military bearing.

Description

The Civil Air Patrol is a great oppurtuninity for all volunteers seeking community service who are willing to put forth maximum effort for their individual unit, and who are seeking to be members of a unique, dynamic and fast moving team that is goal oriented and and volunteer staffed. CAP is the official Auxiliary of the United States Air Force (USAF). CAP recieves funding, guidance and training assistance from the USAF. CAP is directed toward community service in every aspect, whether it be for the present or for the future.
