Mission Statement

WINGS has provided technical assistance and networking support to women entrepreneurs in Kentucky's Appalachian region since 1994. Our purpose is to foster self-employment opportunities and develop the individual/collective power of rural women.

Description

WINGS offers four basic services: 1) Training classes 2) Networking events 3) Mentoring opportunities 4) Links to Business Capital We have a small staff that covers 49 counties (approximately 17,000 square miles) and most services are mobile.
