Assisting Children Through Teachers, Inc.

Description

The Need: Teachers regularly purchase classroom aids and supplies out-of-pocket in order to provide our children with the tools and building blocks necessary for academic achievement.

In recognition of their efforts, Assisting Children Through Teachers, Inc. was formed--to financially assist Triangle educators who too frequently assume a fiscal responsibility in the education of our youth.

Project ACTT is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization--fundraiser proceeds and contributions will fund grants and awards for local teachers who demonstrate a specific need for classroom aids, supplies, or projects designed to promote innovative and best teaching practices for the long-term benefit of K-12 public school students in Durham, Orange, and Wake Counties.
