Mission Statement
Our Mission is to bring to life Seattle's grand a varied history in the form of an annual festival. A little bit street fair and little bit block party, with a historically theatrical twist. Founders Day will be a vibrant festival reflecting the diversity that is Seattle.
Description
This is a highly themed theatrical event; with set designs, and scripted costumed actors, buskers, and vaudeville, Burlesques and Barkers. The Founders Day Festival will bring a wide range of opportunities of creative expression to the center of the Belltown Neighborhood annually, complete with local handmade crafts, local food, and local music, all in celebration of OUR local history.
Supported and assisted by The Seattle Department of Neighborhoods through a matching fund grant, and with the gracious assistance of the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI)
