Mission Statement

Mentoring to Manhood was founded in 2005, and in that time has become one of the most impactful mentoring programs in Prince George's County. The mission of M2M is to help boys develop academic excellence, strong character and positive communication skills, and to provide them with the resources and tools to maximize their potential.

Description

Mentoring to Manhood (M2M) serves middle and high school African American males in Prince George's County. We provide weekly tutoring and group mentoring at Kettering Middle School each Saturday and Walker Mill Middle School each Thursday during the school year. We also organize three signature events: a Leadership Retreat, Success Panel and Anger Resolution Workshop. We work with Big Brothers Big Sisters to provide one-on-one mentoring.
