The San Jose Art League (SJAL), headquartered in San Jose, California, was founded in 1938 to serve and support new and emerging artists in the local and regional area.

Description

The San Jose Art League (SJAL), headquartered in San Jose, California, was founded in 1938 to serve and support new and emerging artists. Activities include exhibitions, competitions, visual art and poetry classes, artist / poet mixers (potluck with artists and poets bringing examples of their work--slides and poetry), poetry readings and a quarterly art and poetry online magazine ("e-zine").
