The Haku Baldwin Center, formerly Maui Animal Aloha Center, offers Therapeutic Riding, Horsemanship for Veterans, and an Equestrian Facility.
Our therapeutic programs are dedicated to helping children and adults with disabilities, patients and seniors in hospitals, rehabilitation, convalescent, assisted-care, pediatric, adult-day care and Alzheimer facilities.
HBC's Therapeutic Riding Program is dedicated solely to helping children with special needs, providing weekly therapeutic horseback riding sessions to children aged 2-17. The Animal-Assisted Therapy/Activities Program visits over 400 patients monthly utilizing therapy animals (dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks & chickens) for visitation & therapy. Our Humane Animal Education program is offered every Tuesday by appointment to preschools, elementary schools, special education and special interest groups (i.e. 4H, girl scouts, boy scouts, etc). The Horsemanship for Veterans Program provides weekly therapeutic horsemanship sessions to military service members.
