Heroes Night Out is a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide our wounded heroes and their families dinners, a day or night at a sporting event, amusement park, or any other venue that gives them a well deserved break from their every day routine while recovering from their injuries. Most of these families are staying at a Fisher House.

We seek donations, including toiletries and other personal hygiene products, to assemble into and distribute as gift baskets to senior citizens. We do this both as a means for recognizing their generation's contribution to society and to address the financial impact created by living on a fixed income with significant health care expenses.

Some of these families are formerly homeless, victims of domestic violence, lost their homes in a fire, in medial crisis (Harmony Hospitality House) or other situations that can strike without warning.
Southwest Community Center swcommunitycenter.org provides food, clothing, shelter, guidance, health, and referral services to economically disadvantaged individuals and families, and assists and encourages those whom we serve to achieve self-sufficiency.
