The mission of Family Service and Mental Health Center of Oak Park and River Forest is to provide professional mental health services ranging from crisis intervention to treatment for the persistently mentally ill to alleviate suffering and empower individuals and families of our communities to live healthier lives. The mission of the Prevention Team is to cultivate a strong positive peer culture that champions freedom from drug use and promotes peace.

We provide: *Outpatient therapy to individuals (adult and youth), families, and groups *Crisis Intervention *Day Program for the severely and persistently mentally ill *Delinquency Prevention *School-based Substance Abuse and Violence Prevention Programs *Services for the HIV+/AIDS population *Services for the elderly
