Description

I am a 30 year-old woman from Seattle who is walking across the country, collecting the "grievances" (as in our First Amendment right to petition the government for the redress of grievances) to deliver to the President. My experiences with the WTO in my home town of Seattle, as well as the travesty that was our recent Presidential election prompted me to take this action. I have been collecting grievances (hand-written letters from the people to the President) since Inauguration Day, and have been walking since April 1st of this year. I have walked 1,050 miles so far, and reached Logan, Utah. In light of the recent WTC tragedies, I have decided to take a brief break and reorganize. I am currently in Portland, OR, and hope to be back on the road in October.
