Description

By uniting and mobilizing the fashion, art and fitness communities, Jeans 4 Justice raises awareness for, sheds light upon and grants access to the realities behind a subject matter that is highly misunderstood, and increasingly prevalent in our community. Our call to action is to increase community involvement and enhance education efforts.

• AWARENESS: Jeans 4 Justice grabs public attention through edgy campaigns and leverages social impact through creative partnerships with like-minded organizations.
• EDUCATION: Jeans 4 Justice takes a holistic approach at the high school and college levels by empowering young adults and teens to take responsibility for their behavior and actions through experiential learning, leadership development and peer outreach.
• EMPOWERMENT: Jeans 4 Justice engages student groups and the community at large through workshops, events, and campaigns to take ownership over their role in creating social change.
• PREVENTION: By shifting social stigmas around sexual assault, focusing on education in high risk age groups, and empowering communities with creative, accessible programs to share their stories and take action, we aim to decrease the prevalence of sexual violence.
