Mission Statement

The African Family Health Organization (AFAHO) works to connect people of African descent, primarily African and Caribbean immigrants and refugees to healthcare and social services in Philadelphia and its surrounding counties.

Description

AFAHO works to connect vulnerable and underserved populations to critical health and other services. We serve our clients through our health and social service programs and link clients into other services including immigration, housing, literacy, English language etc. We also provide language translation and interpretation in several African and Caribbean languages. Our work is expanding into West Africa where we will provide healthcare to individuals in rural areas.
