Mission Statement

The mission of the Instituto Laboral de la Raza is to help combat labor injustices while achieving economic stability for the Bay Area's working poor and their families.

Description

The Instituto Laboral provides much needed counseling, workers' rights education, and direct legal services for low-income and immigrant workers in the Bay Area. The majority of our clientele are Latin American immigrants who are more susceptible to exploitation in the workplace due to language barriers and unfamiliarity with their labor rights.
