Mission Statement

The Oak Tree Corner provides a safe and caring community in which children and teens from the greater Dayton OHIO area can share the experience of the death of a loved one with their peers. And there, through guidance and support, they can develop inner strength for healthy living with loss.

Description

The Oak Tree Corner is a non-profit, non-denominational program for grieving children, teens and their families. It is based on the Dougy Center (Portland OR) model for such organizations and provides on-going open-ended peer support groups free of charge 11 months each year.
