Description

We visit folks on a regular basis, transport people to medical and other appointments, and provide respite care. We repair and paint folks' homes, roofs and barns. We build handicapped ramps, take folks for country and memory lane drives, plant gardens, call them during illness or just to check-in, run errands, deliver meals and/or food, wash windows, clear snow off cars and walkways, and help neighbors get grants for large home repairs that are desperately needed.

Our volunteers dispel loneliness and the feeling that nobody cares. We take folks' to games, community events, we assemble scrapbooks, enjoy music, food, and good company together, we laugh and joke and some even dance or act together at our monthly Senior Enrichment Programs.

We strengthen and enrich our communities, the lives of others and ourselves simply by showing our elderly and disabled neighbors that they are still amazing, wonderful, and much needed members of our society.
