Mission Statement

Alpha Project's mission is to empower individuals, families, and communities by providing work, recovery, and other support services to people who are motivated to change their lives and achieve self-sufficiency. On a daily basis we provide homeless men, women and children with opportunities that include employment, training, housing, showers, laundry facilities, recovery, youth mentoring, outreach and other critical support services. Daily, the agrency serves more than 4,000 men, women, and children throughout Southern California.

Description

Our programs include: With your support our programs have expanded to include: _Winter Shelter Program serving 200 homeless men and women nightly. -The Neil Good Day Center (City of San Diego's Homeless Day Center), in which we serve over 300 men, women and children daily. -Casa Raphael/Casa Base (STEP-UP)- 134-residential treatment program for homeless men. -210 units of housing and services for mentally ill homeless individuals -Over 700 units of affordable housing for very low-income families and seniors. -Outreach services for the homeless and runaway youth. -Community revitalization throughout the County. -Supportive Transitional Employment Service for Un-housed Persons in San Diego (STEP-UP).
