Mission Statement
TNABA is dedicated to enhancing the lives of all blind and visually impaired men, women, and children of the great state of Tennessee, through physical fitness. We strive to provide adaptive recreational and competitve events for everyone. We are committed to educationg the public and our peers in the adaptions to sports ad the abilities of all blind people.
Description
We are the local state chapter of the United States Association of Blind Athletes. Together we help promote active and healthy lifestyles for all blind individuals. We serves adults and children of all ages. We work hard to provide fun and exciting opportunities for blind people to participate in and perhaps compete in on local, state, regional, national and even international levels. We help train blind athletes to participate in the Paralympics if they so choose. In essents we are helping to change the world in blind athletics. We also advocate for the blind to teach the public of the abilites of the blind and the adaptatioons to sports and recreational activities.
