The Office of the Staten Island Borough President, an office mandated in the New York City charter, provides support to the people of Staten Island and serves as the only borough-wide representative in the City government. The Borough President serves local residents and businesses, helping to improve quality of life on the Island, support local economic initiatives, and champion for services from the City.
