Our donated goods business not only helps fund these programs, but our stores and donation centers at times serve as training sites for program participants. Job Training
Includes an introduction to the world of work, exploration of your skills and interests, on-the-training, job search assistance, and long-term follow-up & support.
Job Openings: Goodwill's Job Bank posts weekly listings of local job openings, flyers and job books that will help connect job seekers with employment opportunities
Telephone Bank: Telephones are available for use to arrange appointments and facilitate communications with employers.
Computer Bank: Computers are provided job seekers to use in their job search efforts. Software includes: programs for career exploration and resume' development. Computers are equipped with internet access to enable job seekers to do research, apply for jobs online and check or create email accounts.
Resource Library: Our Resource Library provides a variety of materials to help job seekers prepare for and secure employment, as well as information regarding various types of community-resources, training, financial aid and other special needs.
Photocopier, Printer & Fax Machines: Access technology is available to assist in job searches and career exploration.
