RxAssist is a web-based resource center for anyone needing information on free or low cost medication options. Its goal is to offer the best information regarding medication assistance in the most user-friendly way possible.

Description

Since its inception in 1999 as a tool for clinics, health centers and health care programs across the country serving the uninsured, RxAssist has provided a range of comprehensive, current and accessible resources for professionals, caregivers and patients. RxAssist includes: 1) a database with information on and applications for pharmaceutical company patient assistance programs; 2) generic drug patient assistance programs; 3) a database of retail store generic drug programs; 4) a chart detailing state prescription assistance programs; and 5) information on Medicare Part D and how to compare Part D drug plans.
