Mission Statement

K5NOLA takes the platform of social media to build a movement that mobilizes students in disaster recovery efforts. It is a division of The Stars 4 Students Foundation which has an overall mission of developing projects for students and the entertainment industry to jointly address major causes. Description

We are hosting a film/concert project in New Orleans for the 5th Anniversary of Katrina (August 22-29) to raise funds and awareness for the some 60,000 homes still missing in the NOLA metro area, as well as prepare students in Gulf Recovery efforts. Thousands of students, in conjunction with celebrity ambassadors, sponsors, advocates and volunteers, are being called-to-action to address housing needs and costal recovery planning.
