Mission Statement

The Mission of Sun Devils Inc. is to provide an educational and life changing experience for youth and young adults of Florida. We provide that through funding of various groups that promote these teachings. Specifically teachings in performing arts, music and athletic performance. Our goal is to also provide a diverse social experience and education in which to grow productive citizens that will prosper in life.

Description

Sun Devil Drum & Bugle Corps is a competitive marching, music and performing arts group. They are based in Sarasota county Florida and have many members from the Sarasota & Charlotte area as well as other parts of the state. The corps is taught by some of the best music and performing arts educators in Florida. Sun Devils Drum Corps belongs to Drum Corps International (DCI) and Drum Corps Associates (DCA) national competition organizations. They compete nationally throughout the summer and perform in many venues through out the United States as well as local parades and exhibitions. The corps season starts in December with the annual banquet and ends on Labor day weekend at the DCA World Championships.
