Mission Statement

The mission of PHHASE is to provide HIV-prevention education, emotional and physical support services, and advocacy on behalf of AIDS/HIV sufferers in Polk, Hardee and Highlands counties.

Description

PHHASE offers transitional housing to homeless individuals who are infected/affected with HIV/AIDS. We have a total of 4 bedrooms and 12 beds available. We plan to serve at a minimum of 12 individuals per year. To mee their educational and employment goals, clients participate in a variety of programs. PHHASE will assist in obtaining resources that will help the client gain employment and housing. We also have a food bank that operates weekly and serves approximately 40 individuals/families a week. We host workshops and seminars to present new and updated materials for the client as well.
