Our Mission......

Our core mission is to mobilize resources within and outside the recovery community to increase long-term recovery from alcohol and drug additions.

We will work with the recovery community to coordinate public education, policy advocacy, and peer-based recovery support services (P-BRSS).

Our services are designed & delivered by people who have been successful in Recovery.

History:
The Southern Minnesota Recovery Connection came into existence when the MN Dept. of Human Services Alcohol and Drug Division sought proposals to establish a recovery community organization. The applicant for the Grant was Mankato Rehab Center Inc. (MRCI) MRCI has been partnering with agencies, organizations & communities for over 57 years.
