Mission Statement

The mission of the Central Coast Northern Dog Rescue is to provide the services of rescue, fostering, and placing of the nortern breed dogs, and the education of persons and organizations in the community about these issues, and these breeds.

Description

Central Coast Northern Dog Rescue, CCNDR, is a rescue organization for northern breed dogs. CCNDR acquires dogs from local animal control facilities, the SPCA, and private persons. Dogs are carefully evaluated in their foster homes, spayed/neutered, and recieve necessary shots for immunization before placement. We accept a diverse number of northern dogs, and some northern dog mixes that qualify as good family dogs. Northern breeds most often rescued and placed by CCNDR are Siberian Huskies, American Eskimo dogs, Samoyeds, Malamutes, Keeshonds, and Elkhounds.
