Mission Statement

The ILP is a non gobernamental organization. Legal Number Bolivia 1397. The ILPs mission is to spread permaculture throughout the American continent, aiding to create sustainable human settlements who are not harmful to the environment, but rather a real life alternative for people seeking to change their world. Permaculture is the perfect tool for building ecovillages, a holistic approach to sustainability, and ecovillages are the perfect example of permaculture or the responsible and wise interaction between humans and their environment. The ILP is helping to create a better world for future generations.

Description

The ILP works creating its own funding through ecotourism, handcraft making and volunteer participation. The ILP is currently working in various countries in Latin America, Norway and Senegal. The ILP is building an ecovillage in the village of Marquina in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
