As Texas’ largest blood center and one of the largest in the nation, Carter BloodCare supplies blood components and transfusion services to patients in approximately 200 Texas hospitals and healthcare facilities in 56 North, Central and East Texas counties. These facilities include our region’s children’s hospitals, central trauma centers, major cancer centers and transplant centers. Although Carter BloodCare’s primary focus is recruiting new blood donors, collecting, processing, storing and distributing blood products, we also offer a significant number of laboratory and direct patient care services to hospitals throughout Texas.
