Mission Statement

The Surry Volunteer Center will mobilize people and resources to deliver creative solutions to community problems. Our mission is to foster, promote, and support volunteer involvement in order to maximize the effectiveness of human service organizations, and to achieve solutions which improve the quality of life in Surry County. The Surry Volunteer will be a liaison between potential volunteers and agencies utilizing the services of volunteers and will refer potential clients to member agencies that can serve their needs.

Description

The Surry Volunteer Center serves the Surry County area in placing volunteers with non-profit organizations that can utilize the services of volunteers. We will also match people in need with agencies that can best serve their needs.
